Thai and Vietnamese cuisine

Thai cuisine is probably one of the oldest ethnic food in Finland. It's been around for 25 years. Yes, finland is pretty new in ethnic cuisines, but little by little we're getting known with the world kitchen.

Best way t experience Thai cuisine in Helsinki is going to downtown Kallio - once again. There are plenty of Thai restaurants in Helsinki but they all are different from each other. This is basically because in Thailand the food is so different between regions.

Du Dii is more like Thai fast food. The restaurant is small, so the best way is to grab portions with you and enjoy them in the park near by. The prices are low and even small portion is huge.

Lemon Grass is pretty clear food and very citric. My favorite portion is

Korpthai is pretty much mixture of Du Dii and Lemongrass with more coconut milky way. Green curry is very good here, as well as service with is very warm and welcoming.

Vegan friendly Sen Chay is worth of trying - especially summer rolls and soups are delicious here!

Also before there was this thing called "Finnish taste" and it meant that food that was supposed to be extra hot didn't feel in mouth at all. Now things have changed, gladly.
