Smoothies
A very good way of experiencing Finland's healthy nature is by mouth. Add e.g. lingonberries or bilberries to your smoothies. Or how about cloudberry-almond-spirulina smoothie? Well hello there!
If you want to carry part of Finland's nature with you back home, buy berry powders (e.g Arctic Power Berries). Frozen berries you can buy from any super market. Actually the problem with frozen ones is that often they have added some sugar on them for freezing progress. Powders won't have added sugar as they are made from dried berries. Thoug some berriez are frozen dried and might have sugar added.
Here's an example for you:
Hemp-bilberry smoothie
1 cup bilberries
2 dates
2 tablespoons raw hemp seeds / hemp protein
1-2 cups nut milk
also a hint of black pepper and turmeric
And that cloudberry smoothie? Yes.
1/2 cup cloudberries
2 cup almond milk
1/2 banana
a bit of spirulina
2 tablespoons hemp protein powder
some agave for sweetener
