You might heard that we Finns like to drink quite a bit. When the clubs close at 4 am and we've been enjoying our food only as liquid sweet version, it's time to get something to chew. And we're to talking about salad here...

There are grills that are open only night time. Usually there are in the list "Porilainen" which consists from two slices of toast, a thick slice of sausage, onion, cucumber salad and ketchup. Oh man, people love this. Another all-time favorite is to order "Lihapiirakka kahdella nakilla", which is meat pie with two sausages.

Also Makkispekkis is famous.

Tintin Yögrilli is located middle of Kallio. Open daily from 8 pm to 5 am.

Snacky was a Finnish hamburger chain. Definitely worth trying. They have portion called Pressa - "The President" - which has been around since 1980. It includes minced meat beef, bacon, egg, cheese... you know. All portions are available vegetarian (with veggie patty). Ok, then the whole idea of Pressa will be gone but other portions work well! Also gluten free possible. Later Snacky was accused for sovinism in advertisments. And in the end bankruptcy took this hamburger chains life. What a story!

Jaskan Grilli has been around for over 25 years. There's a humor that in Jaskan Grilli you'll get Finland's best Makkispekkis.

Hampuris is a burger chain which keeps your budget in it shape and offers you great burgers!

Food trucks have got popular and you can spot these wheeled kitchens during summer around the town. They don't represent the authentic Finnish junk food culture that much.

And how about Jänö vegan fast food grill in Taka-Töölö!

There' are lot's of grills around Helsinki. These are just some for example!
