West part on Helsinki is filled with nature. Here you'll find sea and forests, secret spots for hang around on the hilly rocks. One spot to check out is definitely Kruunuvuori area which has become pretty famous place to discover. Kruunuvuori is abandoned villa area where you can walk around and imagine how life was back in 1800's when these villas were built. Unfortunately vandalism has taken part in this area as well as the villas have been beaten up with erosion but you'll have a nice walk in the forest.  

 

Other areas such as Herttoniemi and Jollas are just suburbs but worth visiting. In Herttoniemenranta you can spot baby wans and other birds during spring time.
