The festival of lights

It's a fact that winters are dark in Northern Europe. Even if we have technology in Finland and we know how to make things work, we can't change our geographical loctaion. But people are so smart that they have made darkness work from another angle - visuals, art works by lights, activities with lights for people. Lux Helsinki is the thing to experience on beginning of January. The whole city turns into artwork and it's featured by local and international artists. And it's free of charge for sure.

Children? Oh yes, tehre are plenty of things for children as well e.g. in Annantalo where there are activities also indoors.
