This is a small area just next to central Helsinki, but it has so much to offer - especially restaurantwise. Also home of Tove Jansson is located in here. You know Tove Jansson, who created Moomins?

 

Also you'll find Design museum and beautiful Rikhardinkatu's library from here. And let's not forget all those second hand furniture shops. 

 

But the restaurants. There are five restaurants worth checking out: Juuri, Pastis, Spis, Emo and Ragú. Each one of them are special in their own way though some of them have influences from mid-Europe and you want to try Finnish cuisine, right? My personal favorite is Juuri which is specialized in Finnish ingridients and local food.
