What does darkness mean, actually?

In your country you might have rainy season. During that season sunshine might not show up for 2 weeks.

To compare this with Finland, in November of 2014, sun showed up total 13 hours. Compared to other years, there has been sunlight approximately 37 hours during November. So that year November was extremely dark. But what's 37 hours anyway - Novembers are the darkest. And it continues pretty dark until end of February. Especially if it's not a snowy winter. Snow brings light because it reflects the light (heureka!). But sometimes we win in the shit lottery and it doesn't snow at all during the winter.

Or it snows but it melts straight away = walking outside is more like paddling in slush.

I hate darkness. Living without sunlight makes me immediately depressed and turns me into negative person. I know I'm not like this normally, but hey flowers need sunshine too to stay alive. Or maybe I'm angry and negative normally and sunlight makes me go insanely. Who knows.

Superfoods are well worshipped products. I started to dope maca root powder and it helped me a lot. It doesn't taste so good, but don't mind the taste - it really helps to balance your hormone levels which get pretty screwed up when there's dark all-the-time. It also has plenty of vitamins that boost your immunine system.

Eating healthy and clean is also important. And doing sports. Get that gym card or buy those slaloms. Go climbing. Or just for a walk. Don't start the drinking rumba. Alcohol will make you feel even worse. Remember your vitamins, especially vitamine D. I can tell that my nails are growing high speed during summer, but winters they are just thin, thin paper. That tells that vitamins need sunlight to work.

Finland is rough country and there's also huge difference between people's behaviour during winters and summers. So don't get surprised.
