You know, back in the days it was mostly all about farming and harvesting. The city of Helsinki has also it's own farm animals. At Haltiala farm you can go and spend some qualitytime with cows, sheeps, pigs and chickens. Apart this a nice place to go and spot sheeps walking around is in Kuusiluoto.  It's also a nice walk on the duckboards. From Viikki fields you'll find cows.

 

 

 

 

 

Yearly, around beginning of May, cows of Viikki are let out from cowshed. It's worth going and watch how cows become extremely happy for seeing daylight and having space to move after long winter spent indoors.
